Hello to all CCMC members:
As the calendar is turning toward 2026, the Cape Cod Mustang Club is gearing up for another thrilling year filled with events that promise to delight car enthusiasts and members alike. This year, we are excited to unveil our most comprehensive and diverse event schedule yet, set against the picturesque backdrop of Cape Cod's scenic roads and other charming locations.
We hope that you are doing well. We had a great season in 2025 with many new and traditional activities – cruise in nights, cruises, luncheons, ice cream socials and museum visits. We hope that you participated and enjoyed last year’s club activities. The CCMC Advisory Board: (Neil Hersey, Russ and Diane Geldmacher, Michael Vazquez, Scott Toenniessen, and Kriss Boucher) all hope to continue to guide the CCMC in the same spirit as was done previously by Neil Hersey and Joanne Hall. The club wouldn’t be what it is without Neil and Joanne’s hard work and dedication. In addition to the CCMC Advisory Board, we have had several members who stepped forward to help with the cruises and events. Heather Swenson’s time and efforts to create our newsletters is invaluable. Many of our members helped make our cruises and events fun ones. Bonnie Ferrari is our membership ambassador as well as the creator and sponsor of the Captain Bonney Cruise. Scott Toenneessen made our Ponies Out of the Barn Event possible last year. Thank you to everyone who helped with our Thursday cruises and the West Barnstable Village Fair. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to attend the West Barnstable Village Fair which supports our Thursday Night Hosts: The Cape Cod Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society (CCCNHRS). We were able to meet and greet and get to know several of the NHRS members at the festival as well as at the weekly cruise nights.
On May 9Th 2026, the club will host its annual Spring Kick-Off Cruise “Pony’s Out of The Barn”. This event marks the beginning of the cruising season and offers members a chance to reconnect after the winter months. The cruise will navigate the beautiful coastal routes of Cape Cod, offering breathtaking views and an opportunity for members to showcase their Mustangs.
As in the past, Wildfire Wednesdays in Mashpee will be an Ad-Hoc event. Mike and Lisa Cannata (restaurant owners) hosted us informally for several Wednesdays. We will be reaching out to Mike and Lisa to start this informal cruise night this coming Spring. More information will follow via future email.
This year, we are thrilled to introduce several new events to our schedule, designed to enhance the club experience and cater to the diverse interests of our members. We will have a schedule of events coming soon. Somewhat like last year’s schedule albeit with some date changes. The Cape Cod Mustang Club is comprised of a great group of Mustang enthusiasts and, as always, the CCMC is for and by the members. We welcome any suggestions for new events/cruises. Please feel free to offer any ideas, suggestions, offers of help, etc.
Additionally, we have t-shirts, caps, and window clings featuring the Cape Cod Mustang Club logo available for purchase. These items are quite popular, and we are considering placing another order this spring. Please contact us via email if you are interested in purchasing any of the items.
We are finalizing the details of our 2026 Event Schedule and will be sharing more information soon. Be sure to check our WEBSITE and FACEBOOK page for updates, including exact dates, locations, and registration details.
If you're a Mustang enthusiast and not yet a member of the Cape Cod Mustang Club, now is the perfect time to join. Membership offers a variety of benefits, including access to exclusive events, club merchandise, and the opportunity to connect with fellow Mustang lovers.
Visit our WEBSITE to learn more about membership options and to sign up. A fillable copy of our 2026 Membership Application is online HERE. We had quite a few new members join last year and participate in many of our events. Our membership “year” will start in May 2026. We will collect the $20 membership fee in person. We cannot accept Checks or credit cards cannot be accepted. You will not need to fill out an additional membership form if you are renewing.
We also would like to hear what you liked or did not like regarding last years’ events/cruises. Let us know what works for you. We need more members to come forward to help organize and sponsor/organize/lead a cruise. Every little bit helps. Some of our events will not come to fruition if we do not get any volunteers to sponsor/organize/lead the cruises. We have many cruise routes and information already prepared; however, we do not have someone to sponsor/organize/lead them. We cannot hold some of the events/cruises without your help.
